Potluck Picnic at The Studio - 20th March

We enjoyed a great evening at The Studio in Bath hearing from Abigail Branagan and Residents Annie Lywood and Annie Legge about the creative and tech ideas that flourish in this co-working and development space. Thanks to Abi and Caroline and everyone at The Studio for hosting the event.

It was amazing to learn from Annie Lywood about Sooothe, and touch and feel the stunning therapeutic sensory textile products that she has developed. You can read more about the research and design of these cushions with therapeutic qualities that support the wellbeing of people living with anxiety and stress at https://lnkd.in/gh22nd5d

We were inspired by Annie Legge's journey to co-founding the DOT PROJECT, supporting organisations to build digital confidence and resilience, creating sustainable, connected impact. And through the development of Tech4Good South West, supporting individuals and organisations from tech businesses, the voluntary and public sectors to connect, share and collaborate for social impact. You can hear more from Annie and other #TechForGood stories across the South West on the the new podcast: https://lnkd.in/g_vNwZSi

We also learned about many more #WomenInTech who feature in this collection, just a small selection of so many amazing stories. Both local and global, current and inspiring pioneers as part of #WomensHistoryMonth.

Each one of us can actively support and #EmbraceEquity within our own sphere of influence.
