I arrived in Bath around thirty years ago as a result of a work promotion. Back then I was in the travel business, which seems a lifetime ago. Since then I have been lucky enough to hold a variety of roles, many simultaneously! Sports therapist, Ad Designer at Future Publishing, Law Costs Draftsman, Office Manager and was a member of the Institute of Marketing for over ten years. I also was the Chair of Bath’s Small Business Focus for several years.

Currently, I am the Development Officer at the Theatre Royal Bath, part of the small but effective fundraising team working on the new Wonderfund campaign. I have the honour of being the current Chair of Bath Area Play Project and have a myriad of interests, mostly creative. I have been incredibly fortunate in being able to really make the most of Bath’s arts scene. I have performed on a few of the stages in Bath including the Rondo and the Ustinov, I have sung with a band, exhibited my art and recently joined the Guild of Jewellery Designers. During lockdown, I had the time to rediscover my creative side so my jewellery making is now a huge part of my life, having repurposed my home office into a workshop.

I believe that the people of Bath have a predisposition to support each other and joining Bath Women’s Fund for me is another way to do what I can (in my own little way) to support the amazing organisations we have.
